Hillspec

$2,990

For a street car that sees the odd track day. Valving and spring rates matched to your car: firm control over body movement, give over sharp bumps, and a height that clears your driveway. Choose Clubspec if you keep returning to the same circuits and need one setup for the sessions and the drive home.

The price is the kit. Fitment, four-wheel alignment, corner-weighting and freight are separate: the services page has what each of those runs to.

Start with the spec sheet and we'll give you a ring to settle the build.

In a hurry? Ringing is faster than the sheet, and you get someone who builds them.

The starting point of the range, and still a setup built for your car rather than a generic part number. We and spring it to suit the platform, its weight and street use, with 24-stage adjustability and correct for your vehicle.

Fitting at the Monbulk workshop is a service priced on top of the kit. The kit is completely serviceable and , and it carries a 3-year / 100,000 km warranty. Buy one set for the life of your car: when it gets serious, the same up to Clubspec or Customspec.

Sold as Benchmark until September 2026. Same kit, new name.

Prices include GST. Buying online lands late 2026, so for now a kit starts with a conversation: send an enquiry, or call us on 0473 584 884. We book the consultation from there, go through your car and how you drive it, and lock the spec in before anything reaches the bench.

For your car

Does it fit?

Pick your car and we’ll confirm the Hillspec kit suits it. Every kit is specced to the platform on the consultation, so this is the starting point, not the final word.

The spec sheet

Tell us about the car

Tell us about your car and how you drive it. Apart from your name, how to reach you and the state you're in, everything here is optional, and there are no wrong answers. We'll go through it properly on the consultation call and lock the spec in together.

Extras

Quoted at consultation.

An hour with the people who build the kits: which arms, bushes and rates suit your car, and why. You leave with a spec and the thinking behind it. Book it on its own, or bring what it turns up to a build.
Set to your car at the build. Struts use rod length for the main height and threads for fine trims after wheel or tyre changes; wishbone and multilink setups adjust at the lower bracket. Separate-spring rears use spring choice or an adjustable perch, depending on the car. We account for travel, leverage and axle alignment.
Lift for driveways and obstacles, then return to your normal ride height. We fully support Stanceparts Aircups and AirFlex ProCoil. Confirm fitment with us, buy directly from the supplier and send the parts in before the build. We don't source or supply the cups.
Sitting very low, or running well off the usual, both take the outside where a standard works. We shorten the body and to suit rather than sell you a kit that spends its life fighting the spring.

What do you use the car for?

Tick everything that applies. We'll get the rough percentages from you on the call.

If you had to pick one, what matters most?

We valve for this and make the rest work around it.

Tick any that apply. We know most of these tracks well.

What arrives in the box

Every kit ships as the same anatomy, specced to your car: anodised mounts, the knurled adjuster, and a serial number that ties your set to its build file in Monbulk.

Quick answers

01What's the spec sheet, and do I have to fill it in?

It's the workshop brief: what the car is, how you drive it, and what you want out of it. On Hillspec it's optional, so fill in what you know and we cover the rest on the call. On Clubspec and Customspec it's how the build starts: those tiers are specced to your answers, so the more of it you fill in, the further along the build is before we even talk. Apart from your name, how to reach you and the state you're in, nothing on it is compulsory, and none of it changes the price; whatever the sheet doesn't cover, the consultation does. The bigger the kit the more it asks, because there's more to decide: a street setup needs a handful of answers, a full bespoke program runs to a proper technical brief.

02What if I don't know the spring rates or the corner weights?

Skip them. Anything you might genuinely not know carries an "Unknown, please advise" option, and several of those numbers we'd rather measure ourselves anyway. Your answers stay in your browser as you go, so you can wander off and check something and come back to it.

03What if I'd rather not do the consultation call?

We keep trying, because that call is where the kit gets specced properly and we'd rather chase you than guess. If we still can't reach you, we build to the best spec for the car and the details you gave us. It's a backstop, not a way around the call.

04What happens after I get in touch?

We come back to you and book the consultation, and that's where we confirm the valve code, and for your car. It happens however suits you: at the workshop, on a video call walking the phone around the car, or over the phone. Nothing goes to the bench while we're still chasing you for it. Once the build is done you either book fitment at the Monbulk workshop or take the kit to your own.

05Can I fit this kit myself?

Yes. We'll walk you through fitting the kit and setting it up, including and alignment. Or bring the car to Monbulk and we'll do the lot.

06What warranty does the kit carry?

Three years or 100,000 km, and it stands for road driving, track days and competition. We don't void it because you race the car. When a set has done the kilometres we strip, inspect, re-valve and reassemble rather than replace it.

07Do you ship outside Australia?

Yes, kits go worldwide, and plenty have. Tell us where you are and we'll quote the freight before you commit to anything. Overseas builds are specced the same way as local ones, on a call or a video walk-around, and dampers can be posted back when a rebuild is due.

08Can I change tier later?

Yes, up or down, at any time. Hillspec, Clubspec and Customspec run the same , so moving between them is a or a rebuild of the set you already own, not a new kit. Book it like a service: the dampers come in, or get posted in, and go back out at the new spec.
