Shake and bake!
Everyone in the workshop loves motorsport in their own time. The whole shop collaborates on setup and development, and the crew's own cars are where it gets done. Feedback from every weekend goes into every customer's kit the following week.

Everyone in the workshop races something, and that's the development loop: somebody drives a car, says what it did, and the valving changes. The telling is where the weeks usually go, so the people who valve the kits are the people in the paddock, and the driver climbing out is the bloke who built the dampers, or is standing next to him with the trace already open. The whole shop goes
When there's a meeting on, the shop packs around the cars. The spanners live in the pit, Tim's on the radio between the car and race control, Chris is on the laptop between runs, Brett runs prep and strategy, and the merch stall comes along too.
The service stand isn't about our cars at all. Plenty of cars in the paddock are on our dampers, and for the weekend their setup problems are ours. Wheel it over, whether the kit came from us or came with the car. And if you just want to talk suspension, the merch stall is where we're easiest to find.

The events we put our name on
Shockworks' name on other people's events: the free Drifting Cup stream at World Time Attack 2026, headline naming rights on a beach matsuri two years running, sponsored trackside support at VicDrift's Summer Matsuri, and a presented grand final day at Sandown.
The stream was our shout
At WTAC 2026 the Drifting Cup stream carried our name. EXEDY Australia's was on the event itself. Ours was on your free seat at home. The top three: Saxon Moyes, Jason Ferron in the Barrawagz R31, Forrest Wang in the Keep It Reet R34. Two of those three cars run Shockworks: the R31 and the R34.
โFriday night finals will be broadcast over our FREE official livestream thanks to Shockworks!โ

Ran on Shockworks dampers
A drift battle lasts under a minute and the dampers barely warm up. What they have to manage is the transitions: full lock one way, then the other, the car crossing a lane in its own length, kerbs taken without lifting. The chase car does it in the lead car's smoke, close enough to steer by feel. When a pair holds together through the last corner, that is the valving doing its job.
From the fence, the sorted cars were the ones that landed their angle and stayed flat through it; the others arrived unsettled over the front and took a moment to recover. Eight of the sixteen in the Cup ran our dampers.
Another twelve ran in the time attack classes across the weekend. None of it was arranged; they came to us one at a time, over years.
โThe weekend saw plenty of revalves and services for the guys running our gear.โ

The season's grand final day at Sandown, run with Shockworks' name in front of it.
On the board since 2013
The dampers were under race cars from the first years; 2013 is just where the written record picks up. From Targa stages to time attack, the community wrote most of it down before we did, and it reads back from this year's entry to the Targa car that opened the account.
Shockworks' S13 #59c went off track at WTAC 2026.
First and most importantly our driver Andrew's okay. We're all very thankful for the high level safety gear.
Thanks to everyone who supported us and gave their best wishes.
RIP #59c

2025
Fourteen days, one hole
The S13 went from bare shell to the gate in fourteen days, fabrication, geometry and valving all done in Monbulk by the people who would have to live with them. John Boston had it going properly in Clubsprint before a mechanical ended the weekend early. The car had answered its question. The loop still had a hole in it, and Chris spent that weekend reading his own car through somebody else's hands.

14 days out
Wide body on, engine in. No bonnet, no livery, 14 days to the gate.

13 days out
Acostal rear end, shock inverted so damper changes don't need the wing off.

12 days out
MT Performance billet VE, just under 650kw, Emtron on traction control.

36 hours to dyno
Twenty renders to land the design, applied on bare prep. It came out right.

Run what we race.
Everything on this page runs the same suspension we sell over the counter, specced the way we spec our own. Tell us the chassis and how you use it, and yours gets the race car's treatment.
Quick answers
01Is the suspension on the race car the same as what customers buy?
Same , same build process. A race car runs a Shockworks kit for its and for the lap it has to do. There's no separate race product on the shelf, because every kit is valved for the car it goes on. You get the same with a spec written for your car instead of ours.
02What happened at WTAC 2025?
The S13 came together in a fourteen-day build push and ran Clubsprint at Sydney Motorsport Park with John Boston driving. A mechanical ended the weekend early.
03What happened at WTAC 2026?
The Shockworks S13, Silvia #59c, ran Haltech Clubsprint with Andrew Price driving. He set the car's best lap on the Friday morning, 1:34.049, which stood as eighth of twenty-eight when the results closed. On the Friday afternoon the car went off track. Andrew walked away and is on the mend; the car was written off, and #59c won't be back. The stand ran the rest of the weekend for the customers racing on our dampers, and we'll be at WTAC next year doing the same.
04What happened to the S13?
Most importantly Andrew Price walked away from it, the safety gear did its job, and he's on the mend. The car didn't make it. That's the end of the Shockworks Silvia #59c. We'll be at WTAC next year to support customers as usual. Our own entry goes quiet for a bit while we look after customers and sort the cars in the shed. Thanks to everyone who checked in on Andrew and on us.
05Do I need a race car to buy a kit?
No. Most of what we build goes on road cars. The program exists because a timed, officiated lap tells us things a dyno sheet and a street drive can't, and what comes out of it feeds back into how we valve customer kits. Hillspec is the street setup, Clubspec is for the car that has to do both.
06Can Shockworks support my car at a track day or an event?
Trackside setup work is part of what we do, making damper and chassis changes at the circuit rather than back at the workshop. It comes with the Customspec tier and is arranged case by case, interstate and overseas included. Ask on the consultation and we'll tell you what's workable for your event.
